Moon Gardening Workshop
Gardening by the phases of the moon is a gentle approach to working with Nature. While moon planting is really nothing new to some people, it seems to have been forgotten by a great many people because of the advent of super fertilizers and the easy availability of established greenhouse plants.
In this workshop, you will learn which moon phase is best for various garden activities from planting to pruning, from hoeing to harvest.
Companion planting, crop rotation, compost tea and more are explored.
You will learn to discover the energies of your garden through guided meditation.

Herbal Tea Workshop
This 2 hour workshop is fun, interesting, useful — and delicious. You will learn about what grows wild in the prairies that can be harvested and brewed, and also what you can plant yourself.
Marie explains the planting, nurture, harvesting and drying of a variety of teas and sheds light on the medicinal properties of each. From lactation to skin problems, from digestion to congestion, what grows around us offers healing and health -- not to mention great taste!
